I always marvel at the way husbands stare at their wives in the ICU as if they were looking at the most beautiful woman in the world. ❤️

So beautiful Jane

Isn't it beautiful?! I don't understand it. I'm older maybe losing the "male gaze" but I still have his, every day

The older I got the more I appreciated this look I see and think it’s my own gaze that’s my problem. I won’t ever presume to speak for anyone other than myself. 🙏🏼

Jane, this is such a beautiful love letter to your husband! He is lucky to have such a smart, accomplished and flexible (yay for yoga!) life partner. It's easy to get caught up in the mundane responsibilities of life, so taking the time to really appreciate one another is wonderful. Thank you for sharing this perspective with us. Who says midlife love isn't hot? XO 🥰❤️

Thanks so much, Amy. Life can get mundane sometime We keep fighting middle age and not getting lost...It can be easy to do.
