A beautiful tribute to your dad, Jane! I love how he left… waiting till you were all home safe and sound. ❤️ My dad’s been gone twenty years, but I still feel him with me at times. Thank you for this sweet remembrance. Made me tear up a bit.
Thanks so much Joan. I think we always feel their presence with us no matter how long they have been gone. Thanks again for stopping by and commenting. I truly appreciate it
I have little doubt the sky was mom and dad communicating with you. They are there, watching over you, book it.
The Angel thing was dad letting you know, no doubt. I got the same kind of message from my dad over the radio when my mom died…he was letting me know. When I got to the hospital, I told my brother and sister the time she passed. I had the time to the minute. My sister’s mouth dropped - she said how do you know? I told her dad told me.
You talk to them, they’ll reply. Time does fly, no doubt.
Thanks so much Ken. There can be signs when we aren't looking for them. That's amazing that your dad gave you a message about your mom. They are still looking out for us. I like to think they are separated by us by a thin veil, eventhough they feel so far sometimes
Thank you for sharing. Both my parents have died and I miss them terribly. But my biggest surprise came when I realized that I could learn things about them even after they were dead, simply by thinking about them and talking about them with others. I appreciate my mother more and deeper than I did during her lifetime. I could not have loved my Dad any more than I already did.
Thanks Elsie! I'm so sorry about your parents. Isn't it interesting how we still learn from our parents? The closer I get to their ages the more I understand if that makes sense
A lovely remembrance. 💟 Our parents are always with us. 💞
Thanks so much, Nancy! They are always with us. They may not be here, yet they are everywhere

I too asked my mere “show me a sign” still waiting .. lovely story and relationship with your father.
Thanks so much, Jennifer! So many times I've asked for signs but nothing.
