You have a great way of handling it, Jane. 🤍 My grandma could prevent getting artificial hip joints by doing exercises every day. Taking care of your body is just as important as taking care of your soul.

Thanks. I'm doing what I can. Every day something different hurts

Just did a short yoga session yesterday for like the first time in a year. I’d like to make it a weekly thing again.

So far my musculoskeletal parts are holding up, but I have a bday this year that ends in a zero so hopefully that holds up 😬 🤣

I'm so sorry this happened to you Jane 😔 As someone who has lived with severe shoulder and neck arthritis since my early 20's I can feel your pain. I inherited it from my dad who started at 11 yrs old.

I blew my right knee out at 38, and proceeded into my career, which eventually wore down my left knee (as I over compensated). Both bone to bone. So many mri's and a healthcare system that wrote me off., telling me to wait til 80 for knee replacement!!!

I watched my dad keep going and creating, so I turned back to stretching, began taking Medterra Pain Relief CBD (non thc) oil (daytime) and really good hemp oil at night. I can walk a few miles and play with my grandkids. I only got cortisone shots twice a year after it happened but read about the wearing down of ligaments so stopped a few years in. Your diagnosis is severe so I am happy to know that the gel shots can help. I only heard of those a few years ago but we have given up on Kaiser insurance. We pay a fortune for catastrophic healthcare (2k/month) and can never get an appt. We are small business owners. I tried last year for upper g.i. pain and they had nothing for 3 months. 3 weeks later could have died in the e.r. 39 heart rate, passed out and emergency gallbladder surgery. 65 end of this year so we will save a little money with getting medicare but who knows if that will collapse!

It's no joke about taking care of yourself. We have to!!!! And those gel shots should be covered! They save a lot by not doing knee replacements! Thank you for sharing. We never "see" the pain that many people carry. I'll keep you in my prayers. ox

Thanks so much, Deborah. I'm so sorry you have been dealing with arthritis for so long. My knees are stage 4 under knee cap the rest are at 2 or 3 but enough. The injections take the edge off, but that's it at 56 now I am told I am "too young" for a replacement-fighting that

I had a bad knee injury on my one knee as a teen so I'm sure that didn't help

Insurance. So many are struggling. The medical system. It's all messed up at least where I live

You have am extra challege as well being a business owner

The system is so messed up 😔 I'm really sorry. I hope you can get the help you need, as well as remain strong and determined not to give up.

And yeah it's not nice to small business 😕

Hope you have a good weekend Jane 😘
