Thanks so much and thanks for sharing your story! It's funny how things work sometimes. Timing is everything, but it sounds like you are meant to be together and fate found it's way. Love this!! Thanks again
This is such a heartwarming post, Jane! Thank you for sharing your love story with us and then giving us the invitation to share ours.
I met my husband almost 12 years ago. I moved into my first apartment and he was the manager...I wish I could say the rest was history but it was years before we got together! Most of it had to do with timing and growing individually a bit before becoming a couple. We have been together for seven years and married for 8 months. We've been through lots of moves, including to a different state, death of a parent and other family members, career changes, family drama, inheriting a dog, and both making our way to Substack. :) If someone had told me that I was going to marry the guy from Boston who showed me the apartment in his sweats minutes after he just woke up, I would have laughed so hard. Happy to say the joke is on me ;)
I think I commented on myself and not to you below 🤦♀️. Anyway! Thank so much for commenting and sharing your story. It's interesting how things work sometimes and timing can be everything. It looks like fate had plans for you both! Love it!

I need to sit down and write mine. Mine is a lot different.
I'd love to see that Paul! I always think it's interesting how other people meet, plus I'm nosey
Let me shake this pinched nerve in my neck and I will see what I can do.
Ugh. No fun. Feel better
Wishing you both, and your son, many more years of love and happiness 😊🥰
Thanks so much!
Jane, What a sweet story. You inspired many smiles on my face. I'm happily on my own so no significant other story to share, unless you count my cat.
Thanks so much, Sandra. Pets are family for sure!

So happy you two love birds met and made a beautiful life together.
Thanks so much, Kathleen!
You're welcome, Jane
Congratulations! I’m still waiting to meet my future husband ✨
Thanks so much Hege! You will! My husband and I happened to be very young when we met
Wow. The great joy if granted and a life destroyer if oil and water.
So true. Love can be the best or life's biggest pain
Wonderful Story, Jane! Congratulations!
My wife and I met online. In the VERY early days of internet dating. Yahoo! Personals, to be exact.
In our case, I was in love with her the moment I heard her voice.
Meeting in person only reinforced that feeling.
And now, as we move into the next chapter of our lives as grandparents, I still strive every day to better demonstrate that love.
Wishing you and your love all the best!
Thanks so much, Aaron! Ahh way back to, Yahoo. That's so awesome. I'm amazed at how many people meet online.
Enjoy your next chapter of life together
