Yoga has changed completely the way I feel about anything, anytime, anywhere…I committed to 3 times a week it’s priceless…at any age, I stopped for 10 years and I wish I hadn’t…same exact thing happened with pilates…they are both amazing for the body but life just got in the way and forgot my priorities…
Absolutely Janine. That’s why I’m so addicted to yoga lol. I’m not someone who gives up easily. If something is challenge I seem to gravitate towards it. Finding your post and subscribing has been one of the most helpful decisions I’ve made. Your writing and your replies help to really put things into perspective. You make it sound easy ❤️
“Accepting myself as I am”, is a great way to put it. I have been doing yoga for a while and I’ve found it to be very therapeutic. But, at times it can humble me especially the balance poses. But I just wipe the slate clean and usually the next time it gets better. So this is a very helpful interview.
"Accepting myself as I am" is the goal. Just generally. On the mat and off. Meeting yourself where you are, whether you are falling over or incredibly stable is the practice. Each moment is a new opportunity to practice. That's what is so wonderful. It's never too late to try again, no matter what "it" is.

Pilates and yoga complement each other so well and can make a huge difference in how you feel day to day. 3 times a week is amazing, well done!
Thanks! 😊 I think what we all need is accountability and motivation…they go hand in hand…
