and leave the world behind
I think that is why I enjoy working my garden. I wear hearing aids, and I can listen to music so the both of them will give me some time to chill.
That's awesome! We can find peace in nature and music. Do you have a flower or vegetable garden?
Oh I can relate
I can relate
I know exactly what you mean, Jane. May I please come, too? I like this poem!
When I need to quiet the mind, I love an afternoon at the beach
Sounds like a plan
Of course. If only the bubble could teleport to a warm sunny, quiet beach ⛱️
Short and poignant Jane. We all need to escape and have our time to ourselves to connect to our soul ✨
Thanks so much, Hege. We really do, especially when we are so many things to many people
Love this!! 🤍
Thanks so much!
Oh how I get this so much today!
Ihave spent 3days taking care of my 87 year old father who is starting to have dementia. He is nonstop talking and the quiet only lasts for maybe 30 seconds. We took him home today, and I must say, the quiet is bliss!
I'm so sorry about your dad. Being a caregiver, you need for yourself too. It's difficult.
I am a mom, pet mom and business owner and sometimes it overwhelms my introverted brain.
Thanks so much for stopping by to chat. I appreciate you
