I find laughter the is best medicine. There is nothing you can do to stop this natural process so not laugh about it. I wear ice hats for help ease the pain and believe I look ridiculous. My husband and son now call them ass hats and it makes all of laugh. Whatever you can do to provide education to your family and laugh about it…it definitely help helps ease the anxiety on all parts.

It is for sure. Sometimes you have to laugh. It didn't know about the ice hats but it makes sense for the migraines. Glad that helps

I’m never against a good cry either. It’s so much better than holding it all in.

Exactly. I cry and laugh a lot. Ok I cry. More than ever in the past year or so. Menopause? Who the heck knows?

Ever since I’ve had migraine, way to many to count, stress is a big trigger. Everyone was always telling me don’t get angry, do get upset, don’t cry because you’re going to make yourself sick. I know they were just looking out for me but that added to stress even more. But NOW I let me self feel how I feel. I permit myself to stay/relieve the stress for a limited to both for my mental and physical health. I can’t relate to the menopause roller coaster yet but your post have been helpful to prepare me.

Btw the Headache Hat can be bought on Amazon. I’m sure it would feel amazing on with a hot flash.

So true bottling up stress is not good for your health so expressing your emotions is necessary! Oh the headache hat! Do they make one for the body? 😄 🤣

Giving you the biggest virtual hug as I’m listening to some Pink Floyd to calm my moody menopausal messy mind. Hoping that will do the trick to be able to get some work done today.

I do remember the Archie Bunker menopause story and not really understanding the concept of it when I first watched it. I need to re-watch that one sometime.

Thank you for sharing your experience!

I probably didn't get it all right word for word, but it's hilarious. I wasn't allowed to watch the earlier episodes but my grandfather would watch them from his Archie chair

Right?! lol

I don’t remember which house I watched it from, but I do have a step-dad that came into my life when I was 15 that is an Archie Bunker for sure.
