I wish sometimes I would take the time to write. I have a number of partial stories bouncing around in my head but having other things I need to do. If you have the time by all means, write. Right now, I am just commenting on yours and other peoples post.

That's awesome. I just started to write again after 20 years of not writing. It helped that I was up at 530 each morning with my dog and had that hour and a half before I had to get ready for work. I'd love to see your stories.

I think commenting on other posts are part of the fun here. I've been trying to do more reading and less on notes

Thanks, Jen. This platform's algorithm doesn't seem to "favor" my writing. I can't doubt myself or change the way I write for that.

IF you are writing for popularity. I suggest you stop. If one person praises your words. You’ve succeeded.

Thanks, Maggie. I've been questioning myself lately as a writer. It's not supposed to be this way. I just revamped a post about this from last year, I will post today

I think it's normal and maybe even healthy to question ourselves. If it doesn't last too long, of course. Either way, sending you a hug!

Thanks. Hopefully not. I have a successful business to run and real people in my life that mater to me

I understand. Not sure if you want this, so feel free to ignore, but one exercise I do with my clients often is to let them write down 3 things they are incredibly proud of doing. Which could be anything: a relationship, starting a business (because that takes guts!!!), something you wrote a while ago... It can help to shift things a little 🙏

Thanks. I've had a therpist tell me that, actually a few. Here goes for accountability before heading out to take care of 🐕 🐶 🐈

1. I created my own business

2. I show up every day as a writer

3. And move this to the top being a wife and a good mom and friend and sister.

Holy shit, that is impressive. And probably most impressive is the fact that you are a good wife, mom, friend and sister. Most people struggle with that alone.
