Oh how I remember the “evil” music according to the church. We had to burn our records and 8 tracks. I still remember hiding a KISS 8 track from my parents. I would listen to it after school before my parents returned from work.

Oh wow! Burning records. I'm not sure what happened to my sister's tapes. I didn't have kiss though. That was a crazy time

Lots. I will pick 1979 by Smashing Pumpkins. Because of the time it reminds of.

That's a good one. A nostalgic song about nostalgia if that makes sense

Yes. I am very nostalgic, but I prefer romantic. That song was on the radio constantly one summer.

I can't believe that song about nostalgia is 30 years old

I remember that! It's interesting how music can transport us back in time

30 years does not seem right at all. But yeah, I am more likely to remember something if there is a soundtrack to my image-memory. I recall understanding the feeling in the song. My 1979 was 1999 thereabouts.

It was on Mellon and the Infinite Sadness released in 1995, so almost. I'm sure it didn't get air play until later. I don't know where time goes

A morn lady while my husband sleeps. I’m a 60’s teen. Also friends with many music groups. I’ve been meaning to finish story of Beach Boys titled Round Round Get Around. I got around .

I’ve refused to feel guilty about liking me any song. Even so-called one hit wonders. Because I know how hard those people worked just to get that one hit.

But if I had to say what might’ve been guilty pleasures at one time I would say songs from shows my girls watched like Hannah Montana, shake it up, And Victoria Justice, which featured a very young Ariana Grande!

One hit wonders are the best! I think songs we listened to with our own children, like you did become favorites. I think I am still nostalgic over Kids Bop. Shhhh

I think I feel less guilty the older I get. I hear you with the nostalgia kick. I barely listen to anything under 20 years
