It's closing in
There it is
Crawling up my spine
Under my skin
Wanting to scream
letting off steam
Instead
it forces me to hide
deep inside
If I could be alone
and roam
feel the ocean breeze
the wind through the trees
maybe then I'd feel at ease?
Could I dig
a palace underground
and not be found?
Could I visit it for a few hours
and still keep my power?
No phones
No texts
No doubts
No worries
No judgments
No minefields
No traffic
No people rushing
to where ever the fuck
they are going.
I want to hide
from what's outside
and in
for a little while today
and just be
me
Me too....I am attempting to do media deorivation. I have no problem not watching TV, but sneek in SS every now and then...so glad I found this today.

Ifind it very relaxing.
My mom is so unplugged it is scary. They are getting rid of her hard line but adding a booster to the outside of the house so a cell phone will work. She didn't want a smart phone just a flip phone with big numbers (she is 97). She reminds me of a Sholin Monk living in solitude only catching her Arkansas Razorbacks playing on her television. Which reminds me, I need to call her and let her know where and when they are playing tonight.
