words catching like a snare
“Why do you care?”
Those words hit like a snare
Invalidation
Not being heard
Please listen to our words
REACT
Don't we have a pact?
Why do we defend our plights,
causing senseless fights?
Little bits chip away
The results may not be seen until one day
A downward turning fate
Erodes over time
By then it will be too late
Intentionally misunderstood in a relationship perhaps? The discomfort and anxiety when words whip you.
