I see there are a lot of likes but no comments so far. Well, I’ll give it a try. Sure, I’ve hidden my true identity or feelings about some things in order to fit in or to avoid conflict with others. I’ve never been very susceptible to peer pressure but sometimes it’s just easier to agree with someone than to cause friction by going against the grain.

We can hide ourselves to fit in sometimes or not to make waves.
It can also be seen as choosing your own battles and what we want to spend energy on. That makes sense.
