Sunrise

You seek it out

Calling to you

Like a whisper only you can hear

Alone you approach

Casting your worry aside

Letting go

Seeking

Wondering

Becoming

Finally, joyous after all

Once the colors merge

Perhaps in a chorus of birdsong

This is your time

Your sanctuary

Your space

A slight tinge of envy

Delicately touches my soul

Then I see

From this time

In this space

You create

You see anew

Evolving

Who you are

Eyes open

I see all of you

Admire

Cherish

Pure love

All these words

Not enough

But thankful

I truly am

For you

All of you

Our Souls intertwined

Connected

Joy

Pain

Passion

So much more

Waiting just ahead

Slow it down a bit

Savor our time

Look

Tomorrow promises
