LOL! My running joke is people will flood the grocery stores for bread and milk even though the rest of the year they're gluten and lactose intolerant! LOL I went yesterday, figuring on a Thursday I would beat the crowd. Nope. The place was mobbed. And we may not get anything. But exactly a year ago January 25th we got 5 inches of snow, which for here (Myrtle Beach) is crippling. Says the Massachusetts native who asks "where are the plows?" (Answer: there are none.) Stay safe in snowmageddon.
I laughed when I saw the salt trucks lining up last year at the grocery store, with no plows on the front! One time, in Florida, it snowed when I was there on vacation. The plow drivers came from out of state... they drove around with their plows UP! Hello???? The only drivers who could navigate had northern plates on their cars (including us).
Enjoy your weekend! We went to the commissary last night instead of our usual Saturday food shopping. We are staying home this weekend, unless the weather people are wrong.
Yep, sure sounds like a huge snowstorm! Good description, Jane.
Thanks, C.J
Look after yourself. I miss snow in my area.
Thanks! You can take all of our snow then :)
Just a little would be fine. Haha
Good luck, Jane. Stay safe !
Thanks, Gayle!
Feeling it now in Chicago! -16 today. My current temp as of 9am.
Ugh!! Stay warm!
I’ve got food for now. No snow here, but it was -12 when I got up at 8:00. Only supposed to get up to -6. Many schools & businesses are closed. Crazy.
I thought the other morning at -4 was bad. Yikes! 🥶
We are south of Atlanta, so we are in the border area. We have more than enough food to last us through next week since it is just the two of us.
Stay safe. Ice is the worst

Lol. Too funny!
How do you come up with these so effortlessly? Awesome.
Thanks!! I can be writing in my head for weeks or years 😉
Snow = Slow Down Humans 🧘🏻♂️🧘🏻♀️
Yes! Luckily I don't have to work this weekend. Last weekend was bad enough.

That's good. My husband did the groceries last night. God bless him.
That is so awesome and appropriate!
It is! I’m working on one for the storm too. Snow Day. A blast from the past.
Cool
