Serendipitous Paths of Life - a poem

The ones that cross our path

Sometimes we bump into people in life

It may be for a season

it can take us years to figure out the reason

Sometimes our paths cross

Or they loop around

we have to keep going

because the answers will never be found

Paths can cross when we are young

and we were unaware

that they would cross again

It’s easy to see them now, for what they were

it happens when they are far behind

and not clouding your mind

Only time will tell

if the people we meet are part of the plan

So why do we bump into people in life?

What makes other’s stand out?

then others you pass by?

Why do some appear again, and again?

Will you ever find out why?

Then there are connections that last forever

they were always there

your paths crossed, unaware

closer

and closer

until one day you meet

because of the chance

of someone that was in both of your paths
