Will I ever learn?

I should cut myself some slack

but this last straw broke my back

Will I learn today

or will I let things get in my way?

Why do I put up a fight

when I want to be seen in a different light?

I walk the tightrope

there is still hope

Trying to stay in place

but one wrong move could wipe the smile from my face
