With class

I am a badass

I have so much inner sass

That doesn't mean I can't have class

Why can't we admit

That we don't have to fit

anywhere at all

I was always a badass

even when I felt misunderstood

wondering about all the shoulds

Those days sitting alone

Because I didn't answer the phone

Forging my own way

No matter what they would say

I AM A BADASS!

I will say to you now

I will forever vow

to remind myself “You are a badass Jane!”

Even in times of pain

You always had the reins

I am proud of you

My awareness finally has shown though
