Happy Anniversary to Us

How can I possible write about our 37 years of marriage on a single post? 🤔

Dear Mike,

It’s 37 years today and I don’t know where to start. I could get sappy, and I will. Maybe. The sappiest part I will write for you and only you ;)

We were married so young. 19 and 21. What did we know? Why so young? That’s another article, maybe.

We are growing older together now. There is so much, behind us and so much ahead. I truly hope there is time ahead, so much of it. I want there to be happy and healthy days, nothing is guaranteed though. I know there will be days of rain too, and all of those quiet days in between and I want to be there will you. Always. We got this! Together.

We’ve been through so much together. Jobs, apartments, traveling, houses, moves, illnesses, loss of family members, friends and pets.

Our greatest joy and gift was the birth of our son as becoming parents together at 38 and 40! Later in life and a blessing!

Now we are navigating midlife and the unknow together. We got this!

We have both evolved and then evolved again and always have found each other again. Let’s continue to support each other as we grow.

There is no one else I want by my side, then now and forever. Today or yesterday and all of those days in between. It’s always been you.
