Cemetery Walk
Whispers in the trees
This church was founded in 1700, and the original stone building was constructed in 1768. It has whispers from the past. It served as a hospital for wounded soldiers during The American Revolutionary War. It is one of the oldest churches in our state.
We spotted a deer wandering around the cemetery. She was curious to why we were in her home.
Mausoleums have always fascinated me. So do cemeteries. My husband calls me Wednesday (Addams) sometimes. Nothing wrong with that.
We felt eyes spying on us and we realized our friend was back! A sign from one of our dogs from beyond, maybe? I'd love to think so!
The was sun setting behind so many that have lived centuries ago. So many stories and I wonder about them all.

Those of us who wonder about those long ago lives live in the space of knowing the importance of every soul who was here before us. Their presence HERE meant something! I love this post, Jane! The photos and the poetic words that accompany them.
Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,
