A New Sunrise

This sunrise

calling to me

I will no longer flee

It’s going to be ok

this new day

Colors of peach

pink

lavender

melting into the sky

as birds sing up high

What a beautiful world

sunrises

sunsets

and all of those moments in between

So many beautiful hearts

souls

so often we don’t see

when we hide behind the screens

A world to be explored

Adored

Life isn’t over

this is just the start

this moment

this calm

quiet

serene

gently floating

freeing

finally, being

Welcome home, Jane

You found your way back

to yourself, if only fleeting

I will hold on to this moment

pausing

before I travel

once again

through time
